Alliance for Leadership Learning is proud to be the Delivery Partner for the Queensland Kids Partnership Change Facilitator Learning Experience.

What is the Childhood Stewards Initiative?

The Childhood Stewards Initiative is a network dedicated to ensuring that within one generation, every young Queenslander is thriving. It marks a shift from traditional leadership toward Systems Stewardship—an intentional duty of care to leave systems better than we found them for current and future generations. We recognise that children are not “outputs” of a system to be managed; they are active participants in complex, living ecologies of relationships. This initiative aims to shift the relational and organisational conditions so that these ecologies support the inherent rights and wellbeing of every child.

We’re looking for up to 50 change facilitators – half under 30 years of age – who want to create learning that changes the conditions that surround young Queenslanders so they can thrive – at home or school, while receiving care or on Country.

As Change Facilitators, you’ll spend the first year learning and growing together. You’ll then go on to make real change in your communities and across Queensland for the next 3 years.
